This is a collection of Monoprint paintings from drag shows in Oakland and San Francisco. This volume focuses on shows at the now-closed "Port Bar" in Oakland. My process for these works involves painting on a GELLI pad and pressing paper onto the pad to transfer the image. Some details are added after the transfer but the majority of the image is transferred from the pad. A lot of detail is lost in the process but a truly unique image is the result. This is dedicated to the Queens, The Town, and to the process of letting go.
